I had an IVC filter placed in 2002 due to an accident that I had.

After several repositionings, they left the filter in place due to overgrowth and now in the last few months, I have developed a very rapid heartbeat in excess of 100 beats per minute with out any drugs.. Would leaving this IVC filter in place have any thing to do with the development of the rapid heartbeat?
